Peelable heat sealing foil which is suitable for low temperature storage, high temperature uses and PCR.
Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method of plate sealing, for complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective.
Our PeelASeal Foil is a laminate seal compatible with polypropylene plates.
It can be removed from polypropylene plates by peeling, even with a plate which has been removed directly from -80 °C storage.
PeelASeal Foil forms a complete seal to a plate enabling very low temperature uses, including very low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurised heated lid).
The seal demonstrates moderate solvent resistance and can be utilised for short term compound storage at room temperature.

Our ThermASeal Heat Seal is a heavy-duty laminate foil seal suitable for providing a very strong, but peelable seal.
The seal is compatible with polypropylene plates to provide a high degree of sample protection.
It demonstrates very good solvent resistance and can be used for very low temperature compound storage, in DMSO and organic solvents, and long-term room temperature storage such that it is recommended as suitable for sample transportation.

ClearASeal Perf is a clear, perforated gas permeable film, suited for cell and seed culture, with good optical clarity and moderate solvent resistance.
This is a perforated heat sealing film which is optically clear. This seal has 3 mm slits for gas transfer; is suitable for insect studies and seed storage too.
Heat sealing is a quick and cost-effective method of plate sealing. Our ClearASeal Perf Heat Seal is based on our ClearASeal Peel, with the addition of 3 mm slits across the width of the seal. These slits render the seal gas permeable, whilst retaining evaporation to a minimum, compared to the use of lids.

ADHESIVE SEALS
QuickSeal qPCR Optical RBX 1288002
A transparent, optically clear, DMSO resistant, non-tacky film which adheres only when pressure is applied. It is non-pierceable and peelable. Clear plastic, reflective, glossy on the top. Very thin and light and doesn't crease easily.
- Crystal clear seal specifically developed for optical applications, particularly qPCR
- Non-sticky when removed from the packaging aiding with handling when using gloves
- When the seal is in position, pressure can be applied to burst the capsules, releasing a strong adhesive only where the seal touches the raised well rims of the plate – the rest of the seal area above the wells remains optically clear
- Non-pierceable
- Peelable
- Temperature Range: -80°C to +121°C

QuickSeal PCR RBX-1208002
A clear adhesive film which uses a strong adhesive. This seal is peelable and suitable for PCR and optical applications.
- Our PCR Seal is a durable transparent polyester film with a strong adhesive layer
- The seal enables high integrity and efficiently prevents sample evaporation
- It is recommended for PCR, and other optical applications (e.g. fluorescence or colourimetric measurements) as well as sample storage

QuickSeal Micro RBX 1258002
Low strength adhesive film that is transparent, peelable and suitable for short term storage.
- This transparent polyester-based film has a low strength adhesive
- It is designed as a low-cost sealing option, and useful for temporary storage and as a cover for applications such as centrifugation
- End tabs allow for easy application and removal
- This seal is removable without leaving residue on the plate

QuickSeal Foil PCR RBX 1278002
Pierceable adhesive aluminium foil with strong adhesive. Seal is peelable and suitable for high-temperature applications too.
- This aluminium foil seal has a strong acrylic adhesive which produces a seal of high integrity
- It was developed for PCR and other high-temperature applications due to its effectiveness in preventing sample evaporation
- The QuickSeal Foil PCR Seal is pierceable; when pierced, the foil tears in an irregular manner which prevents the formation of a vacuum
- It also has perforated end tabs for easy application and removal by peeling
