LiquiSeal - liquid-controlled dispensing and sealing
The LiquiSeal is the first system to combine liquid-controlled dispensing and microplate sealing in one unit.
The LiquiSeal combines Kbiosystems" Ultraseal ePRO, an automated electric microplate and tube rack sealer, with Festo's custom-designed, time-over-pressure valve system. This system uses precise pressure control to manage high-speed liquid dispensing, allowing each valve to be individually controlled or operated as a group for bulk dispensing.
The dispense module and sealer are directly linked together to ensure accuracy and a compact design. The ePRO sealer interface allows users to set up both liquid and sealing processes on the same touch screen. This configuration enables microplates to be filled and sealed within seconds, ensuring that the samples remain both clean and secure.
The ePRO sealing system offers constant time and pressure sealing techniques. System operation is designed to efficiently apply a heat activated sealing film to a microplate or tube rack top surface. By pulling and maintaining control of a reel of film cutting to the desired length and by means of heat and time-based variables apply the film to achieve the seal.

Gas Purge option allows the user to lay a heavy gas coating to the well surface prior to sealing, this will then once sealed offer a protective barrier to the air void often left between sample and seal, with the gas laid prior to sealing an oxygen reduce or virtually oxygen free space environment can be achieved.
Offering complete versatility, the sealer Series will work with a wide range of plates, tube racks and custom applications shallow and deep well formats, and custom mouldings.
