Ultraseal PRO is a high-performance automated heat-applied microplate and tube rack sealer designed for precision sealing in laboratory environments. Utilising a roll of surface-modified aluminium or plastic film, approximately 78mm wide and 610m long, the unit ensures consistent and reliable sealing. The roll is positioned at the rear of the sealing section, where the film is pulled through, cut to a precise length between 125mm and 130mm, and then applied to the microplate surface to create a secure, contamination-resistant seal.
Built for efficiency, the Ultraseal PRO processes up to six plates per minute, making it ideal for high-throughput laboratories. Its advanced inline method ensures uniform application, reducing variability and improving sample integrity. The integrated temperature and seal time display provides real-time monitoring, allowing users to fine-tune settings based on application needs.
The unit supports a broad range of microplates and tube racks, including polystyrene, polypropylene, and cyclic olefin copolymer (CoC) and cyclic olefin polymer (CoP) formats. Both pneumatically and electrically operated, the Ultraseal PRO offers flexible operation, and an optional gas purge function enhances sealing performance for sensitive samples. The system also features an automatic eject function, streamlining workflows and minimising manual handling.
